The SMC8708L2 is SMC's first 8 port 10G Layer 2 managed switch. It has a comprehensive set of L2/L4 features. This 10G core aggregator switch is designed to handle heavy traffic workgroups or power users, capable of reaching up to 160Gbps with a non-blocking switching architecture. The 8708L2 is 1RU high giving a high 10G port density in a small form factor, this switch is ideal for enterprise workgroup aggregation or backbone installation.
