SMCBR21VPN has built in two WAN ports which allow you to connect to two ISP (Internet Service Provider) at the same time. It has 5 algorithm to aggregate and managing your network traffic.
                         Auto: The SMC BR21VPN will adjust the WAN1, WAN2 utility rate
                                   Automatically.
                         Round-Robin: The SMC BR21VPN distributes the WAN1, WAN2 
                                                download bandwidth 1:1.
                         By Traffic: The SMC BR21VPN distributes the WAN1,WAN2 
                                          download  bandwidth by accumulative traffic.
                         By Session: The SMC BR21VPN distributes the WAN1, WAN2
                                            download bandwidth by saturated connections.
                         By Packet: The SMC BR21VPN distributes the WAN 1/2 download 
                                           bandwidth by accumulated packets and saturated 
                                           connection.

Download quota / Bandwidth usage monitor
SMCBR21VPN can monitor the internet usage by IP. It can easily monitor the usage and analysed the traffic by IP.

Account based access control
SMCBR21VPN has a built in authentication server. You can activate this function to authenticate all users by their account and password. You can control IM(MSN), P2P, file extension be downloaded and also the time block for every user specifically.



Content blocking
SMCBR21VPN can block the content of the website such as Java script and active X. It protected your network against the malicious Trojan ware from internet.


Network attack threshold alarm
SMCBR21VPN can setup threshold alarm for SYN attack, ICMP attack, UDP attack, Ping of Death attack, IP Spoofing attack, Port Scan attack, and Tear Drop attack. Once the attack packets reach the threshold you set, SMCBR21VPN will notify administrator by e-mail or an instant popup message to administrator's computer.


VPN  tunnels
SMCBR21VPN supports 50 concurrent VPN tunnels. The VPN functions include  PPTP and IPSEC VPN Server,  Dynamic VPN,  IP Authentication Header (AH),  IP Encapsulating Security Payload (ESP),  Internet Key Exchange (IKE) authentication and Key Management with Main and Aggressive modes,  Authentication (MD5 / SHA-1),  NULL/DES/3DES Encryption Algorithm and their use with IPSec Internet Security.

DMZ port
SMCBR21VPN stand alone DMZ port users to setup their own servers.

Graphic event log
SMCBR21VPN has a built in graphic even log. You can view the graphical status of traffic, event and connection. It is much easier for administrators to monitor and analyse the network status
